New Friend

The air smelled of Thedale sands as it was caressing the snowy desert. To the young Vayron snow was eternal, something strong that would never fall back before anything. However... now it was melting in the wind's warm touch, leaving behind puddles filled with crystal clear water. Merioth felt the call. With careful steps he lurked closer to one and once close enough suddenly jumped up and with a majestic splash landed in there, turning the sky's mirror into tiny raging ocean. No, the water wasn't raging, it was happy to meet the little Merioth and decided to greet him. The blue Vayron could feel all this energy now that was previously packed in the snow, it was free, it was alive, it was friendly and playful. He decided to greet the puddle in return.
The water started to behave strange.
Rain and waterdrops came from the sky to the ground, not the other way around.
Merioth was taken aback but not afraid, he still could feel the friendly connection and how the water wanted to dance, letting Merioth guide it.
He could hear the water laugh.
He could finally understand the hidden language that had been calling for him to play.

As predicted I haven't drawn much in this month thanks to university so I finally kicked mah butt to finish this.
Lawd.
I though I'd be a tough old hag and not use reffs for water soooooooo I have no idea what I did there for way too long |D

But at least I know for sure that mah boi Merioth is going to have strong magical abilities, especially when dealing with water and hence I thought it was a good idea to have his spark awakened as a pup. Kind of proud of how it turned out but since my brain just shut down I better stop typing now and check for typos in the morning...
